Million Dollar Pips Review

While Million Dollar Pips is fairly priced, there are far better robots available to gamble your money on. We can’t recommend this at this time.
Whether it’s a scam or not is still to be determined. If you’ve used Million Dollar Pips then please give a score and write a review with your experience.

This entry is reserved for our official review of Million Dollar Pips. This is a forex product being sold on most likely Clickbank or Plimus for a TBA price. They will most likely offer a refund policy of 60 days no questions asked money back guarantee.

Remember if you are going to try any forex robot and forex system that you fully understand how the system works before running it live. I always recommend to use your refund period to test it thoroughly for at least a month. If your results are above satisfaction, then and only then should you consider taking steps to trade it live with your hard earned money. Just because a website says their system will make $xx,xxx a month doesn’t mean it’s going to. So if you are not satisfied, do not hesitate to request your money back. Because of the influx in forex robots and forex systems being released right now, our reviewing as been slowed but our user comments have not. If you want to submit a forex trading product or broker that is not listed on our site, please use the Submit A Forex System form or Submit Your Own Articles. There are many private and underground forex robots and systems out there they I just don’t have the time to look for. Nobody sells a millionaire system $ 99. Any system that could earn sustained 20% per year would be worth much more than that.
    Good luck to all!

I bought this EA three years ago and set it up on my FXDD account. I also used my own computer and high speed internet connection. The results were disastrous. The EA didn’t trade very much, and when it did, 90% of the trades were loses. I almost forgot about MDP, but since my initial bad experience, I’ve become a better, more experienced trader. I now have a pro account with an ECN broker that provides EUR/USD spreads less than .6 They also have almost no slippage, and they offer VPS in the same building as the brokerage, which means latency is less than 1ms.

About a month ago, I decided to run MDP on my new account, and to my pleasant surprise, the results have been excellent. I know it’s early, but I think I’m on to something. The bottom line is that it’s EXTREMELY difficult (and expensive) to find exactly the right combination of broker, slippage, spreads, and latency to get this robot to work. But if you find it, you may well have an effective tool to make some serious profits.

I bought MDP on 03/12/2012 for $99. Good price, one time-only payment. I installed it with some difficulty, as the settings did not “take” on my computer, but after considerable tweaking, I got it going. I had to email William Morrison, the creator of MDP, who was helpful and responded in a timely manner.
MDP trades on the EURUSD currency pair, and the first thing I noticed was that it did nothing. It simply did not trade. I checked the settings, re-checked them and finally emailed Mr. Morrison. He suggested changes even though the manual said to leave them alone. This occurred many times but MDP did not trade. Finally, after several weeks, it opened some trades, small ones, as I had it set to take only minimum pips. It lost money, not much, but it started out losing. It didn’t trade much again, and even stopped for another few weeks. Mr. Morrison visited my computer this time, via TeamViewer. More tweaking. MDP opened more trades, won a few, but steadily lost more than it made.
In the meantime, MDP created two more BOTs, one that traded on USDJPY, the other on GPBUSD. They were the same one-time price, so I bought and installed them. Meanwhile the EURUSD bot traded just slightly more, but still, continued to just lose a little money each week. The two new bots didn’t do anything–and I mean, NOTHING. Again, I emailed Mr. Morrison, who re-assured me they would. They didn’t.
I kept the first BOT because of Mr. Morrison’s re-assurances, even though I went past the 60 day return deadline. I kept the first BOT and it still trades very little, still continuing to lose just a little more than it earns. I’ve tweaked its settings in every way, but it continues to be a non-producer. I returned the second and third BOTs before the 60 day deadline because they never did trade more than once or twice in two months. Mr. Morrison gave me a bit of a hassle returning my money, but eventually did.
The most remarkable thing about these BOTs is that they are very, very UN-remarkable. Mr. Morrison’s sales page says they made over 2.4 million dollars. At my current rate of profit, I’ll probably lose a hundred bucks over the next year. Can you say false advertising? To say that Mr. Morrison’s claims of making the big bucks is misleading, is very, very kind.
Mr. Morrison pitched me on his newest BOT, PhantomFX. That was a total disaster. I comment on that in another review. MDP isn’t even close to what is advertised.

I purchased MDP for EURUSD and USDJPY back in July 2011. I ran it on a live account that had about $700 balance. By October, trading with 2.5% risk in the settings, my balance had increased to over $14,000. Then one day the Japanese government sold off the Yen in an attempt to devalue it, and $7000 was wiped from my account in about 3 minutes! Since October, it has failed to perform. In fact, it has lost some money for me. It appears that the market has changed. The price spikes are not happening as theye were when I was winning, and when they do happen, they have a pattern that causes losses. The spike triggers the pending orders, a small reversal happens, which triggers the orders, then it it reverses back up again and takes the trades out on the stops. It would appear that the EA is highly sensitive to market patterns. Pity!….I thought I was on to a real winner! I’m still using it live, but with a very small risk….just to see whether it will start performing again if market patterns change.

    Hi Guys,

I have been using this EA since more than 6 months, and i can assure you the following: When trading on demo account, you will be astonished by the results! I personally got 2,000,000$ after 2 months starting with a 5,000$.
HOWEVER… on a live account (same broker) it’s the complete reverse results!!! Of course the latency is important but the most critical parameter we always forget is the closing slippage!!! with this kind of slaping EA it can easily distroy your account in weeks.

It depends on the execution time, I have just got a refund as it lost 7 trades out of 10 with loss of money. Vendor goes silent on you when You ask for refund.

I have a Hotforex currenex account which is meant to be ok, I did a ping test and time was reasonable but MDP kept saying too slow, too many rejected by broker I had latest version 1.2.0.
    Hope this helps

The reason why you aren’t allowed to use it on both a demo and a live account is simply that then you would see what a killer effect slippage and requotes and etc have on the live account (not apparent whatsoever on demo accounts because actual order fill and collectivization of orders to go to the liquidity provider just isn’t happening in demo). It’s an interesting toy, but an account killer. Don’t believe all the counter-claims by the affiliate-seller shills. They have a vested interest in sucking you in.

only just started three trades all winners early to say yet. I am using ECN and inportantlly a server in the same city as the broker so low latency rate of 1ms sure this helps gives any scalper the besy chance. My opinion unless you use an ECN and a vps nearby you have little chance of success. you cany blame the EA if you dont set things up the best way possible from the start.

      Hi Warren

MarkR’s comment above on August 24 tells you one of the most important things about VPS choice – you MUST have low latency between VPS and brokers servers – 10ms or lower. Almost certainly means you want them in the same city.

I’ve often wondered how different testers can report such widely differing results for the same EA on the same broker – this latency issue goes a long way to explain it.

Hope this helps. Best wishes, Nick

I’ve been testing for two months on EURUSD. It’s okay, but not great. I’m asking fro a refund. I’m not allowed to use it except on one account, regardless if it is demo or live. I don’t like any EAs that will not let me use it on a live account and AT LEAST one other demo for continued testing. That seems cheesy to me.

Purchased the MDP robot and installed yesterday. Did not take long to start trading and so far has done well. Three out of three trades were winners. (knock on wood) I’ve been trying to find posts on settings, so if you’ve done anything but default, let me know. I sent two emails to their support and received replies same day. I’m impressed so far. I’m trading only the EURUSD version.

I use the EA with EURUSD and USDJPY at my Live account. So far I have received 6 versions. USDJPY did not trade in the first 4 version. The last two versions USDJPY led to substantial losses – so I had to disable USDJPY.
EURUSD: the overall result is still positive. The best results in mid-June. Second half of June and July show more losses than gains. This is a “normal” EA; maybe in the long run you can catch a small profit – not a million pips or dollars.
I will make updates to follow

I’m going all in, purchased the Million Dollar Pips robot and will trade with it on a demo account for a month to test it out. I’m going to promote it, so why not put my money where my mouth is. If I end up using it live, I’ll be doing so on an account that I’m currently trying to trade with FAP Turbo, with marginal success so far and an apparent lack of support from FAP Turbo, even after telling them I’m promoting their product. Makes me wonder if FAP is all that “fapulous”. I’m trading FAP in a demo account with FXCM and it’s gained and lost, (mostly lost).
