Push Button Pips EA Review | PushButton Pips Scam?

This entry is reserved for our official review of the Push Button Pips.   This is a forex product being sold on most likely Clickbank or Plimus for a TBA price. They will most likely offer a refund policy of 60 days no questions asked money back guarantee.

Remember if you are going to try any forex robot and forex system that you fully understand how the system works before running it live. I always recommend to use your refund period to test it thoroughly for at least a month. If your results are above satisfaction, then and only then should you consider taking steps to trade it live with your hard earned money. Just because a website says their system will make $xx,xxx a month doesn’t mean it’s going to. So if you are not satisfied, do not hesitate to request your money back. If you want to submit a forex product or broker that is not listed on our site, please use the Submit A Forex System form or Submit Your Own Articles. There are many private and underground forex robots and systems out there they I just don’t have the time to look for. So if you know of any, or a place to find them please feel free to share and I will make a post about it for the community to discuss.

Update(Feb-18)- There are 3 robots involved with these upsells. The main robot being PushButtonPips, then they have some upsells offering PushButtonPipsTurbo and PushButtonPipsXtreme. I have copies of all three and will have them on an account for next week to see how they do.

    Greetings traders

Since this post is from 2011 do not know if will make a lot of sense to be here or write something about this EA, what is right for some days now I’ve been testing the pisps Extreme Push button on 2 brokers (think forex (profit like hell) Nano and trade (to give signals). 5 digit brokers. i have tested in 4 and had no positive results.

what is right is that from all that EA already tested at 3 years of forex never had any that made $ 1400 in less than 24 or $ 1 each 1400pip the lot size 1.0

be lucky! and have good trades!

    Hi everyone,

Well I also had negative experience with Push Button Pips. Payed, downloaded archive, installed. But seems that their DLL file was corrupt or incomplete. Tried to re-download but still was unable to run that bot. Then after few weeks of emailing to their support without respones simply decided to refund my money back. Refund was successful. That is it. End of story.

The reason why Clickbank allow such scam products to be sold through Clickbank, is because they know that many customers who bought the product – me included – DON’T ask for refund….no more comments.

I had a bitter experience.. I purchased a product through Plimus, but there was no option to download it.. I immedietly contacted the owner & as I didn’t get a response from them, I contacted Plimus… They immedietly refunded my money.. They are a firm concerned over their reputation & I don’t think they assist the scams …

The need to have me install fancy C++ machine which seems to have glitch with one component may have been the demise of my 2 week test so I got refund.
On rare occassion I turn on investor password unit and see it seems the 1.4 million profit in 4 months is real! So dang wha!? So I make offer on freelancer if someone can successfully set me up on cns or viable server. You could have it working on yours then have your server house replicate it to me. It must have been successful for 1 month then via freelancer I pay $500. Need experienced C++ and mql programmers as this seems real deal that salesman don’t even know they got. Update on PBX demo – i realized pip count was off in previous posts because of variable dollar per pip on yen vs Euro or pound. So Update results now for 4 weeks of demo testing will be in USD – 4 weeks demo and $2,758 in profit for 20 trading days or an average of approximately $138 per day trading a consistent contract size of .10 or $1 per pip. Orig deposit = $4k. Largest floating dd so far = approx $500

PB Extreme – 5 weeks demo test -Feb 27 thru Apr 1. +$3,622 closed trades or avg of approx $145 per trading day. Open trades at close of trading Fri Apr 1 =+$6.29. Max floating drawdown to date = approx $500. VERY volatile – will repeatedly go from large profit to large loss & back again. But, still no losing week. Will continue demo testing – will only report additional results, if requested

        Raul,

As stated on my previous email…Demo worked fantastically…Live and nothing happens…it does not trade live…I think I know why…On the demo account I used .1 or .3 lot sizes…It must match the corresponding platform in this case Alpari US….Then when live the FXCH account minimum lot size is 1.0, making a mismatch…So I got a refund on FXCH….I do not know if I changed the lot size to 1.0 on both live accounts would it work, but if I am right about this then it should work..But having a 1.0 lot on Alpari would make it disappear on one bad trade…Also the 1.0 would problably not have enough margin for one trade… I’m testing this theory on Tadawul tomorrow, so I’ll know if it can work on this respectable broker…This does work for certain pairs on the demo I did last week…Turn on the working pairs and take off the losing pairs on both accounts….

I find that Clickbank immediately refund on request – no waiting for vendors comments and excuses etc. I think that says that they know it is a heap of crap!
So why do they allow it to be sold through clickbank I ask……?
I am shifting to copiers, and I have to say that pips cloner is providing some nice little trades

Whether the bigger spread is causing problem or slow internet connectivity is the culprit..we cannot say. But the same guy, Michael is now promoting some other EA’s also. I received 2 such emails from his auto-responder. If his EA is converting a small 2000$ account into 10 Million, is there a need for him to promote other EA’s..? 🙂

      Hi Yury,
At first I had also trouble to get PushButtonPipsTurbo working. I could only trade with scam-broker FXCH. I had tried all different brokers. You know what the problem was: once I had running PushButtonPipsTurbo I could not even trade manually. All 4 digits brokers were blocked except with 5 digit brokers that also has suffix on their symbols. I don’t know why.
Any way. Before you running PushButtonPipsTurbo EA. Try first to place an order manually and one more time after you have running PushButtonPipsTurbo EA.
      Good luck with trading.

    Hi Traders,
I have demo tested the PushButtonPipsTurbo EA for three weeks and I must say it rocks.
First two weeks I tested on FXCH broker and the results really amazed me. This week I started demo testing at Iamfx broker and the results still remains stable.
To trade with Iamfx I had to add Suffix to the symbols (currency pairs) to make it work. I have also add TP and SL to it but for some reason the EA stopped trading. So I had to removed SL and TP.
One thing that makes this EA than the others: this EA uses MAs in different timeframes accumulation of self and others to calculate currency relative index, then trade when index cross.
Once the trade is taken the EA holds the trade for 8 hours no matter what the market does. After 8 hours if the signal still valid it holds the trade otherwise exit the trade. The good thing about holding the trade is if the marked starts ranging you don’t lose your money by opening..closing….and again opening….ect.. the bad thing about it is if the market goes opposite of the trade in a strong trend you may get margin-call if you play with maximum leverage.

Here are the results on Iamfx broker:
    Balance: 10.000 USD
    Size: 1.00 Lot
    Relative Drawdown: 7.32
    Total trades: 54
    Long position (won %): 37 (51.35%)
    Short position (Won %): 17 (58.82%)
    Total net profit: 1989.74 USD

    Cheers

Ted Anderson now claiming that someone else has used his name and sent that ads about pushbutonpips and other scam products. Also he says that this person has been cought now. What is interesting I still have no refund from pbp and even no answer. Have opened ticked at paypal as that is the last chance to get something back.
Also would like to notice that I have asked Ted to refund some upsell products (video, etc) but he refunded all products by mistake.
Just compare that (Ted with Auto pip bot, and PBP) and make your decision.
I cant trust that guys and PBP. Yes, this product could deliver you profit at this moment, but tomorrow you can find your ballance empty. the system will not provide constant profit as lag of broker can disappear at any moment, as well as it can change to reverse. nothing to say about service of vendor of PBP…

This is my first time on this site and I have to say I love everyone’s opinion’s and helpful information (the good and the bad). I found this site looking for more PushButtonPips information. Because, like everyone else here, I saw some incredible profits using the recommened broker pairing (Alpari US vs. Forex-Swiss)… in three days I averaged 1200 pips per day. Yes, that’s One Thousand Two Hundred pips per day! I was beyond excited. Did I just find the holy grail of EA’s? Well, I went through the process of starting a live account with FXCH, luckily they do not accept US clients. I lucked out. Because after researching that broker, their live MT4 does’nt come close to their Demo MT4 performance, along with some other negative issues.

So, is PushButtonPIPS a scam? I’m frankly not sure yet… I do believe that with the right broker pair you may find some excess pips per day. I’m up to my sixth broker pairing in test and have found one that seems to work… while it only made 150 pips last night, it shows some promise. The pairing is Alpari US vs. TadawulFX. I will continue to test this pairing through next week. Again, I’m not going to be quick to judge this EA’s performance without thorough testing, because I do like the theory.. So, it costs me $200 to test something that could net over 100 pips per day? Big deal. That’s worth the risk. I don’t care where you’re from, you can’t argue that.

The point is, I think with some efforts from others, we may come up with some good pairings or better yet, what pairings not to use… below are the pairings I’ve tested thus far, feel free to add to it.

    FXCH vs. Alpari US
    FXCM vs Alpari UK
    FXCBS vs. FXCM
    FINFX vs. Alpari US
FXDD MT Extreme vs. Alpari US
TadawulFX vs. Alpari US (150 pips profit from TD, Alpari was a loss)

Keep in mind, you can turn off the losing broker so it doesn’t trade, but will still give the signal to the winning broker. The point is to find one winning broker of a two broker pairing.

Remember, if it’s NOT fun, don’t do it.

        Troels
On the losing broker, at the top of the screen click Tools, then click options, then select the “Expert Advisors” tab and on that page uncheck the block for “Allow Live Trading”. When you complete those steps, instead of a “smiley” face in the upper right corner of the chart, there should be a “frowning” face. If not….then you must also remove the EA, then reinstall it and on the “Common” tab of the inputs, also uncheck the “Allow Live Trading” for the EA. Just be sure to remember to set the “lots” input to have the same quantity ot lots to be traded as are on the winning broker.

    Re: Push Button Pips.
I tested this ea on 6 diiferent broker’s MT4 platforms including FXCH which was recommended by the vendor.
At first I was greatly excited as the FXCH account went from $3000 to $4,500 in 4 days of trading. It picked up another $400 this month (March) after only 2 days of trading. Great! I thought.
The other 5 brokers that had the Push Button Pips installed were all showing losses over the same period listed above.
This aroused my suspicions as the results were a bit too good to be true.
Why was it doing so well with FXCH???
I did a search on FXCH and saw a large number of people saying they were scammers.
Could it be that the vendors of Push Button Pips and FXCH have coluded together to fleece the unsuspecting public…people like me???
I’m convinced the whole deal is a scam. Their so called live account claimed they made 1 million dollars from a $2000 float in 3 months! Unbelievable but enticing just the same.
Don’t be sucked in by these unscrupulous scamsters. I can’t prove it, but old saying, “if it seems too good to be true it usually ist” rings loud and clear here.
I say, don’t get sucked in. Run a mile.
I just got a refund from Clickbank. I’m not prepared to gamble with real money on this one.
I suggest you do the same if you have bought Push Button Pips…ASAP.

The idea behind this ea is interesting to say the least and obviously got everybody excited (me included) about the massive return on the FXCH broker which you obviously can’t deal with. So this may well be a scam but theory is interesting. So the question we all need the answer to is, does it work with any other pair of lagitimate brokers. If you are running 2 live accounts and constantly hedged it shouldn’t matter what the market does. Only that one trade is in more profit than the corresponding losing trade and that they both click out when in overall profit. That way your profit would be the difference between the two accounts. You would then need to keep transferring some of the profits back into the losing account to keep that running. But you should always still be in overall profit. You could even manually close them when you see the swing in your direction.

When I’ve tested, it has produced massive profits of about 40% profit with 15% loss on the 2 accounts in less than a week. But to be honest wouldn’t we all be happy if it just made an overall profit of say £50 a day on a regular basis. I’d be very happy if all the other ea’s I’ve wasted my money on in the last 2 years did that.
Has anyone found succesful lagitimate broker pairs yet and has anyone dared to trade live?????
Has anyone managed to get their money back yet from click bank.

    Cheers John

I have so far tested 8 different broker combinations, and none of them shows a steady profit growth. It’s only with the scam-broker FXCH (aka FECH), and this is because the prices on their demo-server differs so much compared to the “real prices” that other brokers are using. And this price-gap is used, because once you have opened an order at FXCH with a fake price and then immediately try to close it, it will close according to a price that have been adjusted closer to a real price, so you will get a profit.

If you try to trade using any other broker pair than using FXCH thenyou will find that one broker sometimes will be in profit while the other will be loosing, and it changesa back and forth, and at the end end (after some days or less) you will se that both of them shows a minus result. And the reason for this, is that the gap between the broker prices is too small or non-existent in order for this EA to work.

Believe me, I have analyzed lots of trades and also the actual MQL4 program code, so this is how the EA works (PushButtonPips and PushButtonPisXtreme). This EA has intentionally been created for the demo-account at FXCH.

If you go to the million dollar account, it is a demo. It is not running the Turbo EA and the indicator is not being used. I think the account is being traded manually. If you watch it trade, it is nothing like Turbo trades. Don’t buy. I’m asking for a refund

I bought their standard product, and was confused by their offering of their other products.

I had no problem to set up the EA with the two suggested brokers. Using the two suggested brokers with a demo-account works well. That is, the FXCH demo-account generates a good profit, while the Alpari-account shows a negative result. It all seemed too good to be true, so I decided to test many other broker combinations. The result is that no other broker can be used than FXCH, and the reason for this is that their prices on their demo-account are not real but differ too much from other brokers demo-account, and they use a 1.0 pip spread on all currency pairs.

I sent several e-mails to their support, and did only receive one e-mail answer, which did not replied to my questions but only referred to their manual.

I also de-compiled the EA to see how the MQL¤-code ook like, and it has no real strategy. It only compares the prices between two brokers, and trade in the gap between them. But since this gap is only big enough if a broker are using prices that differ a lot from the real prices, (something FXCP does on their demo-server), it will only work if you use FXCP ajd trade on their demo-account against another real broker.

If anyone bought any of their other products, then please send me a line. I can de-compile the EA and compare it with he basicone and tell everyone what the difference is between them.

    Cheers,

    Pierre

I will request for a refund now, and I suggest all others who have bought their products to do the same. This is a scam-product.

I have analyzed the MQL4-code in all the three EA’s now (thanks for the files I received)…

There are basically two different EA’s. “PusButtonPips” and “PushButtonPipsXtreme” are the same EA’s. In the “Xtreme” version there are no restriction to currency-pais, and you can choose which weekdays to trade and not, for instance if you don’t want to to trade on Mondays. And you can also choose start-time and end-time (trading hours). And you can decide whether or not the trading should stop when the Balance reaches a specific level.

Both these EA’s does not use any kind of indicators or technical analysis of any kind. The only thing they do is to compare the BUY- and SELL-prices between two brokers, and trade in the gap between. The problem is that with “real brokers” this gap is too small or non-existent, so any attempt to make a small profit is eaten up by the spread. Now the FXCH-broker that the company suggest us to use is the worst broker known (make a Google search and you will only find bad reviews), since their demo-server works totally different than their live-server. I’ve tried combinations of about 10 different brokers, and no combination so far are delivering enough of profit to be trusted to start trading live. If you want to try testing different broker combinations, then use STP- and ECN-brokers only with as low spread as possible. So the idea as such for this EA is interested, but useless to trade live with.

PushButtonPipsTurbo on the other hand is a totally different EA. It’s using a cluster indicator known as “CCFp”, creataed by Simeon Semenych, which is a trend-indicator comparing 8 different currencies. You can read more about this group of indicator here: http://articles.mql4.com/484. I have so far not had the time to try this EA so far, but there’s nothing else in the code than the use of this indicator. I found it strange that this EA did not have StopLoss and TakeProfit, nor any other kind of technical analysis or strategy. But at least, this EA seem to be the only EA of the three ones that actually could work in real trading. I’ve added SL and TP to it, and will also add TrailingStop to it as well. So if you have bought it and want to give it a try I can send you the upgraded EA if you send me some proof that you have bought it.

Greetings Pierre, I’m testing all three versions of PBP in FXCH vs. AlpariNZ.
I agree with you that the turbo version is the most interesting (and profitable) because PBP has -10%, PBPX not work and PBPT is winning (for now).
I noticed that PBPT creates a S / L of about 250 when the operation is gaining 300.
I think good idea to add S / L, T / P and TrailingStop. Would have to prove it.
As you attached proof that I have the PBP?
          Thanks.

Thanks Pierre – this is interesting. I bought the entire suite of EAs but have only tested the Turbo version for a couple of weeks. (Strangely ,Clickbank refunded my payment for the Extreme version, even though I haven’t asked for a refund – yet).

Overall my experience of Turbo has been losses on both FXCH and Alpari – though I have noticed that potentially winning trades have been allowed to close out as losers unnecessarily. It has been frustrating not to be able to do anything about this. I would therefore be interested in, and grateful for, your SL and TP adjustments. How do I get my proof of purchase to you?

My hopes aren’t terribly high on this product, and the link to FXCH doesn’t inspire confidence, but I am willing to test it properly before asking for a refund.

Hello Pierre I agree after looking at the Turbo version it might stand a chance so far I have it on a few brokers with many results. Can you send me your version that you have added TP and SL and TS to as I can help with many other brokers to try to see if we can find a profitable group or sets.

I will place it on my demo server and run it for at least a month as I believe this stratagy will not show profit untill pairs run in one direction for a while.

          Thanks

          Look forward to your version

Hi Pierre – can you share your version with the SL and TP? I agree the other two PBP products are worthless and there is potential with PBP Turbo. I am running it on a demo acct with ATC – initially took a $2K drawdown but not up $3.6K – a net $1.6K. Many thanks – Don

    1. Michael Parsons is also Mike Wright who was selling scam product called Traffic Avalanche.
    2. The person claiming to have found Push Button Pips on the internet found it before it was even registered.
    3. The statements are made with a program designed to churn out the random but profitable results in the same style as metatrader.
    4. The pitch on how it works and what you have to do is cleaverly designed to keep you looking for the perfect pair of brokers (The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
    5. There is no customer service at all which is the same MO as his Avalanch scam.

Push Button Pips Extreme works great in deom mode. I ran it overnight and it made $300,000 – this is a scam – note that at FXCH demo account there is virtually no spread on any pairs – I guarantee their liver server does not run with no spread – do not even try to get a refund from Push Button Pips – simply call your credit card company and tell them the product you bought over the internet was not as advertised. [4:00:07 PM] JJ: 2011-01-15
Review: This is the worst broker I have ever used. I opened an account with this broker because my ea performed the best on their demo account (don’t ever trust their demo results no matter how good they look). Deposit was fast, within 24 hours. Communication also seemed good at first (the only two good things about this broker). Then, I start to trade.

First, I put my ea at 5% risk (like I ran it on demo) and the trades go through as 1 lot size when they should be 0.1. It trades 4 times before I caught this and 3 out of 4 are losses. The first was profitable 2 pips, the rest straight spikes until my stop loss was taken out.

So, I stop trading thinking that this was a fluke. Contact customer service and they tell me to restart my MT4. I do as they say and now my account says “ea use prohibited” in the journal. I tell customer service and they say it is because they only allow ea’s to trade 1 lot size in live trading (I was attempting to do 0.1 lot size like in demo). They again tell me to restart MT4. I do this and put my ea to trade 1 lot size since this is required, and it still says “ea trading prohibited” in my journal. After another email it finally starts working again.

Then, first trade profitable next straight spike to stop loss. It did this another couple of times and I again stopped trading (the last loss was 20 pips past my stop loss). I started looking trough my journal to figure out what was going on (because my ea is usually 93% accurate) and then I noticed that anytime my ea tried to open a profitable trade it said “server context is busy” and would not allow it to trade. When it did allow the ea to trade it would have a spike on the charts to take out my stop loss up to 15-20 pips. This was strange so I compared this with other accounts that I have with other brokers and these spikes were not there.

The scary part is that one of the trades were unable to close for a minute and a half (this is the one that closed 20 pips after my 15 pip stop loss). The average trade closing time is 5-10 seconds. When you attempt to open a trade it actually tells you “waiting on trading desk, this may take a while”. At least they are honest about that.

Manual trading is just the same. I placed a couple and they spike to my stop loss or 1 pip past and then go back to normal. It is amazing how blatantly and repeatedly they do this and the spikes never show up on my other broker accounts. They don’t even show up in their own demo account. Also, my demo account with all the same settings for the ea had no losses in this same time frame. I ran them side by side on my VPS for comparison.

Never use this broker. I hope I save someone the frustration and losses I have seen with this broker. They truly are a scam.

At this moment I have 10 open positions. 9 out of 10 is in lost.
I have found one of the problems. This EA does not work if the broker specific suffix for symbols (e.g.: “m”, “ifx”, “iam”, etc.).
One of the bad thing that I noticed about Turbo version is that this EA has no value for T/P and S/L. The indicator determines when to exit the trade. To me that’s very dangerous because if for what reason the internet connection fails you could be get Margin Call. Specially if you have 10 open positions. For this EA you need definitely an good VPS.
