They aren’t there to help you profit,I have been stopped out many times with them,the 20% stopout level they claim doesn’t exist, I have been consistently ripped off, leaving about 3% in my account.They ignore your complaints in chat, telling you to do screenshots etc and to email their complaints people, They NEVER do anything, in exasperation they leave you wondering, even the Indian supervisor there, promised to investigate but never did.PaulC basically, in a smarmy, polite and yet, sarcastic way, their having closed my account previously causing my EA’s to be now, useless because of recognizing my Alpari account only,refused to reopen, nor open a new account, basically told me to f/off after I said that only a few of the girls in the chatroom, and my account manager, Mr Matthew Cox, were the only redeeming features of a nightmare of dealing with them.If you are a micro or small trader, they skin you alive.My opinion is that Regulated brokers are, in many cases worse than unregulated ones.Most brokers are legalised crooks, similar to Insurance, relying on dodgy legalistic jargon to justify their ripping you off.Be warned stay away from Alpari -UK —-you are forewarned!!Mr Dallas Johnson.

note to sugar – i have issues with Alpari live account but it does sound like you are over – leveraging in your account.? just a thought.

Erm…. I use alpari uk and for some strange reason it does NOT produce results like the other brokers I run identical trades with … l get more losses/lower profits. Also – their platform corrupted and my EA continued trading when i had turned it off… when i approached them they advised me if was probably the new build and to not say yes when it came round to upgrade it? Needless to say I am watching them and will no doubt move my account when i test and am happy with a better one. Customer services normally answer in good time but normally a question with a question? I normally have to pose the same question 3-4 times before i get an answer. On the plus side i was amazed at how fast money can be withdrawn and put into the account but am concerned about the overall account as it trades identical to other brokres and results are poorer.

alpari is totally a scam. i’ve been trading with demo several months already and went all well. everytime i deposited $ and went live, it wipes my account in a day. my accumulated loses to this date is $5000.

Alpari uk showed the real color. This week 2011-01-10 Alpari suddenly locked all platforms with open positions for residents of Japan. This means no one can sell or buy and EA does not work. Alpari did this without any announcement. This happened just on the same day which the market was against most Japanese users.

Just one month ago, Alpari gave special bonus to Japanese residents to make double deposits, hence can lose more than they have deposited.
