Performance (Forex PipStack Live Test Results)

Update (April 20th, 2010) – I got a review copy thanks to the ForexPipStack.com guys and it is now up and running. It surprisingly opened a trade on the EURUSD immediately after attaching it to the chart.

License

Forex PipStack will be sold through Plimus for $149.99. Our beta copy appears to be tied down to 1 account so I assume that is how it will be public as well.

Strategy

The Strategy

As previously mentioned, Forex PipStack is actually 5 separate Forex systems rolled into one state of the art automated trading package. An important note about the system is its advanced risk management feature that is applied to every trade in every strategy. Utilizing this feature, users will never have to worry about their Forex account being “blown out” or severely crippled. The system primarily trades on a 15 minute chart of the EUR/USD, AUD/USD, & USD/CHF. With that being said, let’s explore some of the individual systems in detail:
1. Turbo Trend

Turbo Trend is the result of an extensive trend based algorithm that constantly monitors the trend on every time frame. When short fluctuations take place against an established trend (as dictated by the larger time frames), the system place a trade to take advantage of the temporary fluctuation in price.

2. Range Bound

Range Bound was designed to trade in dormant market conditions where prices tend to fluctuate back and forth without much break out. At certain points in the trading day, markets get very quiet and inactive; this inactivity can be taken advantage of by quick scalps and predictable support and resistance plays.

3. Hedge Elite 2.0

The Forex market can be broken down into three trading sessions, the Asian session, the European Session, and the U.S. Session. These sessions will overlap throughout the day and correlations between trading sessions can easily be determined and utilized for trade placement. When moving from session to session, trades will often need to be placed in order to hedge short term price deviation.

4. Market Swing XL

Swing trading is a type of market trading that has been around and evolved for decades. A historic swing hi or swing low can easily be calculated and this data can be used to help determine how deep the next swing will be. Combining this type of analysis with a support and resistance breakdown leaves us with a system that is very accurate in both market entry and stop placement.

5. Scalp FX

Scalp FX was designed to take advantage of temporary overbought and oversold conditions in the market. Often, when news or some sort of economic event occurs, traders tend to over react. This over reaction creates opportunities for a very limited amount of time.

The combination of the five systems allows for trading system diversification that is unseen in the majority of commercial Expert Advisors.

This diversification concept combined with thorough risk analysis makes this trading system completely revolutionary. Positive expected performance on 5 systems combined with a low draw down and diversification is why this system is able to profit the way it does.

Conclusion

Forex PipStack is not available until April 27th, so until we get a beta copy, this conclusion will obviously have to wait. Forex PipStack looks like its going to be a robust EA with great potential, but lets not get hyped up about it just yet.

Update: Thanks to the guys over at Forex Pip Stack, I received a review copy and put it up for testing. It immediately went into profit with minimal draw down. So two great signs right away.

1. A vendor that actually responds, and offers review copies (they obviously believe in their system)

2. Forex Pip Stack has performed as advertised right out of the gate.

Actually, FPA restarted their Pipstack test in early June and it’s doing well so far. There have only been a few trades at FPA, so I’m not putting too much stock into that. However, I’ve noticed it’s doing very well at the Forex Tool Shop, too, after a bad start. I wonder if they changed the strategy or it just had a bad luck streak early on…or maybe it’s just having good luck right now?

FPS’ results displayed on their website didn’t show any serious effectiveness and efficiency on the part of this robot. As at the time of writing this review, the $1000 live account shown on the developer’s website was down by $67 while the account went up and down.

I believe such inconsistent profits and consistent losses that agree with Admin’s findings on the robot will get anyone who considers buying the robot thinking otherwise.

I also bought this product. Have been running it on a $1,000 demo and it looks great. I am up $256. I have been told there is an update. I can’t wait.

I bought the FPS a week ago, the first two days, it did not trade at all. Now it trade once a day around 5-6pm PT. So far it works great, every trade profit over $500-731 , I want to try a little more before I go on live account.

It has not made very many trades for having 5 strategies in one and trading three pairs. Is everything running right?

It appears to be, I will check it again. Maybe give it a reboot.
