Notice: Unfortunately my broker has a 500 trade limit. What this means is that MT4Live loses track of all the older trading history making the statement incomplete resulting in messed up equity graphs which you will see. The balance you see in the image above is what the account is currently up to from it’s original $1000 starting point. So That’s $35,000.00+ gain off a $1000 account in just over a year. The power of this robot can not be argued.

Conclusion

This is a beast of an EA that while may be fun to use, should be used with caution. While I will have no problem running this on a live account, I will be doing so at low risk and withdrawing my profits every month or so. I recommend everyone doing the same if you’re trading this live. Let the fun begin!

Forex Hacked is a membership based platform. Therefore you must create an account on their amember back-end, then once the account is created it will direct you to their regnow.com order form. Once payment is complete, it will take anywhere from 10 minutes up to 3 hours for your account to be activated. At which point you will be able to download any version of the EA, and add your forex broker account number to your profile as the EA will be tied together with your membership for authentication purposes.

Strategy
Forex Hacked uses a form of doule-sided martingale as its core strategy, while using hedging and break-out trading as a form of protection from large draw downs. So no matter what you do, when you attach it to a chart it will make money, its just a matter of controlling the draw down. Feel free to read some of the hundreds of comments about using Forex Hacked, settings, and strategies.

I highly recommend running this robot on a forex vps for the best results as it trades very often. You can see our full forex vps comparison review here.

Recommended Brokers
Forex Hacked will not function properly on NFA regulated brokers, but will work on anything else whether it’s 4 or 5 digits and ECN or not.
FX Open is a great broker for running this sort of EA, I highly recommend it for micro accounts.

Conclusion
Forex Hacked is a very powerful EA but can also be very dangerous if you get too greedy. It can double your account size in less than a week, but it has the chance of getting a margin call if the markets go very bad and you are running high risk settings. There are many users that run moderately high-risk settings and double their equity within a 1-2 weeks, and then close all open trades when the open P/L is respectable, and withdraw their earnings and start over. A great strategy to use with this very powerful EA.

Safe To Buy?
YES!
Forex Hacked has been approved for you to purchase based on its overall profit potential and guaranteed gains as long as risk is kept under control.

Thanks Ariel. But I think Joe, the owner of ForexFBI’s site and who is arguably one of the greatest admins of all times, deserves the praise, in that he allows us to build on each other’s ideas through this forum to tame the wild beast, called Hacked. Hi Guys,
How should that be for newbies. I’m quite new to this. I opened some demo account on ActiveTraders, ThinkForex, Markets.com and FxPRO.
What should I need to make that running profitable. Important thing, I don’t know how to trade.
    Thanks in advance,

      Aug 21, 2011 @ 1:54 am

      Hello LhDT,

Apparently, you’re new to this. You can’t just wing your way through Forex Hacked or forex in general. You must know what you’re doing. Otherwise, you will lose your money easily and quickly.

However, it seems from the way you scripted your concerns, you have not identified the problem itself. The first thing here is to identify what the problem is and then the solution will become easy to spot. For example, you said “I don’t know hot to trade”. It is within the realms of logic to ask you back: Who is doing the trading, you or the robot? And if the robot is the one doing the trading on this forum, are you saying you don’t know how to use the robot, how to install it, set it, or determine what to do with it? Are you saying you’ve run on it on those broker’s platforms and the robot consistently lost? What settings did you use? What pairs did you trade? How long did you trade the robot? What are the account sizes on which the robot ran with those brokers?

A lot of assumptions within that loaded statement need to be clarified here lest you’ll unwittingly hold yourself hostage to the bondage of ignorance.

Please let me know if you need help. Maybe I can teach you a few things I know. Who knows?

      Cheers,
      Reny.

Questions for those who have a track record with Forex Hacked. I bought it yesterday and started running it on demo and it’s up over 13% (that’s including the existing trades that are in the negative) in one day! Does this happen for those of you who are trading it live? I have the settings exactly as advised on here. I have it trading on G/U, E/CHF and E/G only. Also, when you have a nice day of profits like this and you have some trades that are open but in the negative, do you just close them out and let it start over for the next trading day (Asian session to Asian session)? Thanks in advance.

      Aug 17, 2011 @ 22:19 pm

13% in 1 day sounds kind of risky. Whats your account size and leverage? I hope you’re also using the minimum lot size of 0.1 or 0.01

Just using .01 on each pair with 1:400 margin.

        • Ryan Reply
          Aug 18, 2011 @ 15:30 pm

Ok, I know this sounds crazy, but my demo acct of $3k doubled to over $6k in 2 days. I’m using .01 for trading size on Pepperstone Razor demo (1:400 margin). That’s including open trades right now as I type. I’m only trading EURCHF, G/U, and E/G, same settings as mentioned on this site. If this were real money, I’d close out all trades and take out my initial $3k. I have to wonder would this happen on a live acct? I said I would go live once I see this acct double, but I didn’t think it would happen in 2 days. I think I will try going live, but only trade G/U and EUR/CHF only. Those two have made the most money and most trades. Never mind the amount of commission/rebates one can make going through Aslan or Cashback Forex. Comments or thoughts? Oh, and here is the link to my mt4i: http://www.mt4i.com/users/2acsinc It’s 3:30 pm eastern time US as I type.

Im still kind of new to all this too, but damn. lol. Before I saw this, I decided to trade live using the pairs G/U and Eur/Chf. Looks like i may be good. 🙂 I have noticed EUr/chf pulls alot of profit.

          • Ryan
            Aug 22, 2011 @ 15:59 pm

I’m going to continue demo until next week, then I’ll go live with just EUR/CHF only. I have my live acct funded and ready to go, but for some reason my “gut” is telling me to wait until next week. I’d like to see what my 2nd week of using Hacked does. On demo, I added E/U just to see what it will do since it is one of the original pairs. To be honest, I’m a little worried about EUR/CHF right now with all the talk of SNB doing something about the strength of the Franc. I don’t want to be live with Hacked and some sort of intervention takes place and get stuck on the wrong side. I’d be careful trading the U/Y pair if anyone on here is since it’s vulnerable to Japanese intervention. Remember all, keep your lot size to .01, make sure your acct with your broker is as high as possible. I have 400:1. If you can start with $3k, that’s the best and trade only one pair first. Don’t be aggressive. This EA is already aggressive. It’s a wild horse that needs a good tamer ;o) My 2 cents worth.

          • Ryan
            Aug 25, 2011 @ 0:15 am

the higher the bosster the higher the lot size everytime a pair takes a trade when the trend is against it. For example, a pair will buy/sell at .01, if price goes against it and your pipstarter is set at 31, it will take another buy trade 31 pips from the first buy position and open at .02. If price goes against it another 31 pips, it will open a 3rd position at maybe .03 or .04, depending on your booster size. So for instance, if you have booster set at 2, each position that opens will double. Make sense? So if it’s set at 1.6 or 1.8, you won’t see much difference until it opens a 4th or more positions in the same direction.

    Hi Reny

I have just purchased Forex Hacked and also downloaded a copy the settings you advise from the VIP area. I have two live accounts, a USD account with FXDD which at the moment stands at $35 having been wiped out by Forex Pro Cloner (see my comment on Forex FBI website) and another with Vantage FXUK which stands at £5300. I would like to use the Forex Hacked EA on the Vantage FXUK account, however, their standard leverage is 1:100 though their website saysI may apply for upto a maximum 1:500. Would the 1:100 leverage be okay if I keep the lot size to 0.01 and would I need to change any other settings?

    Many thanks

However my question is I am in the US, so I have no choice but to use the 1:50 leverage correct? Is that ok to use with this EA? Also any recommendations on brokers to use? Hello Mike,

Is there any reason you’re so Austrialia-broker specific? The best question to ask is which broker will best fit the trading practices that Hacked demands? When you consider some of the Austrialian brokers I know, their trading practices, policies and ratings, there could be some VERY NICE, strictly regulated offshore brokers that could help you out here without you hemming yourself in and constraining yourself within Austrialia’s four walls.

Contact me if you need to, please and I’ll be happy to lend you a hand…And please don’t forget to use Admin’s link to buy the robot as I’m not affiliated with Forex Hacked’s vendor in any way as many have errorneously thought. I’m just trying to help friends that are relatively new (and old ones too!) to the scene and are in danger of burning their accounts because of the paucity of their experience.

      Cheers,

      Hello Ariel,

While it is true that that FinFX and Trading-Point accept US-based clients, the baseline minimum lot is too high for someone who wants to let Hacked run on its own. For example, the minimum lot size with FinFX is 0.10 which is WAY TOO HIGH for someone to use with Hacked’s martingale strategy. With such a base lot, consider your account cooked.

There are better brokers that can supply you with 0.01 lot size, good spreads, high leverage and a relatively nice bonus to come with your deposit. If you haven’t made the move, you can contact me for help. I leave in the US too and there are good brokers out there that can give us a warm embrace.

      Cheers,
      Reny.

How can you make this, or any robot for that matter, sell or buy when placing it onto a pair?
I ask this because I wait for the top or bottom of a trend before I enter and I recently bought FH to make my life just a bit easier but I need it to obey my wishes upon entering a newly developing, multi hour trend.

Thanks FBI Admin for the work you do, I really appreciate the service you provide.

    • Reny4jah Reply
      Aug 13, 2011 @ 0:51 am

      Hey Jabba,

It is understandable why you want the robot “obey your wish”. But the robot is coded in a way that it goes against the trend and capitalizes on retracements to profit. That is its strength as well as its weakness. However, if you want to manipulate it to suit your whim, you can select either “Long” or “Short” options from the “Common” tab. The default has both. By selecting one of the two, you’re forcing the robot to take just one position and not the two. But get this: The robot CANNOT trade in a manner that will violate its internally programmed laws. The trick lies in you knowing when to switch the robot off and on when market movers strike the trading arena. Understood?

      Cheers,
      Reny.

I want to setup the hedge to work from the 3 trade, how can i let it work ??

    • Reny4jah Reply
      Aug 13, 2011 @ 1:27 am

      Hi Mitch,

There’s a fatal flaw in the robot’s Mass Hedge’s coding. Here’s how it’s supposed to work: When your account is suffering from a large drawdown, say the trade gets to 5th level, a new trade will open in the opposite direction of the losing trades and in the same direction of the trend. The logic behind this is that the hedge will prevent the rest of the account from a large drawdown pending the time the trend reverses. But that is not the case with the way Hacked is coded; for, there are errors in the building blocks.

First, Hacked’s default Hedge booster is set at 1.01. To a newbie, it means nothing. To a pro, it is a warning signal. What that means is that the hedge is aimed at cancelling out the first trade with lower lot and many pips behind without taking care of other trades with higher lots that are losing too. These will continue to run amok and eventually add to the drawdown.

Second, compare using Hacked on a trending market to positioning a breakless vehicle on a slippery downward slope and compare the hedge to a wedge or a shock placed between the tires and the ground. Once the wedge or the shock is removed, the vehicle will continue its downward descent. That is how the hedge part of the robot works. The hedge is aimed at mitigating against the losing trades. But because the hedge is followiing the trend, it will hit the Take Profit sooner than the the real trades do. Once the TP is hit, it is taken out of the equation and then the cummulative negative trades increase automatically. This accounts for the great discrepancy between the Account Balance, which is always higher and the Equity, which is always lower. If the hedge exercise continues that way, a level will be reached when the margin level will be less than 100%. At that point, your account is dangerously begging for help so that you can shave off the losing trades with high lots from the list.

If you’re really keen on using the Hedge function, follow these steps: 1. Activate the MassHedge function. 2. Activate the Stop Loss function of the robot. 3. Adjust the Hedge booster value to have the same value as the main booster. Although, I must warn you to have enough money in your account to give room for these “ying-yang” forces working on your account to do their job without scathing your hard-earned money.

      Hope my explanation helps.

      Cheers,
      Reny.

This EA is the best. It is a beast ! I’ve been using it for around 2 weeks. it cam really double your money in less than a month, but be careful.
DON’T YOU EVER CHANGE THE LOT SIZE TO MORE THAN 0.01
This robot tripled my balance, but it lost all the “profit” because I was increasing the lot size as my balance increased. I used the recommended lot size:
    100$ = 0.01
    200$ = 0.02
    & so on.

But it lost it all. Now I’m back to my initial balance. Thank god I changed the lot back to 0.01 before it lost it all.

Use the recommended settings provided with the robot or the one found in the VIP section of this site. Keep the lot 0.01 & wait. It will make you money.
I’ve used 3 robots before this one (Forex Hacked is my 4th) & I’ve never seen such great yet dangerous robot. Stay safe & you’ll earn some cash.

    Break A Leg 😉

      New Update:

I found the Euro vs. Great Britain Pound pair the most profitable. Apply Forex Hacked 2.3 on it with the Live Micro Settings found in this site’s VIP section.
It’s even better than the recommended settings that came with the robot at purchase !

& remember, never change the lot size ! Always keep it 0.01

Hi Please I want to ask. Has anyone ever tested the mass hedging function, and does it work?
I have tried it several times and I dont see any of the expected effect, both in back-testing and real demo trades.

    Newbie question sorry
    – Do sites like mt4stats include any spread cost when calculating profit?
    – Would provider like FXCM Australia work well with this EA?

      Jul 25, 2011 @ 2:44 am

      Hi Krash0r,

      1. Mtstats does not screen the exact spread cost for each order. Actually, MTstats gets data from your MT4 platform, and it calculate everything based on THAT data.

      2. When a broker uses MT4 as a platform, this EA can be used.

You can contact me through steven4x@gmail.com for more brokers that can be used with this EA!

To be honest, I find IamFX perfect. They will even provide free VPS, as long as you meet their condition which can be met easily.

I’m a user of them. Great broker. They accept ALL EAs & their spread is awesome. another good thing is that they don’t have high fees. A couple of cents from each trade you win. But their money withdrawal is a bit high, 25.00$.

        Aug 13, 2011 @ 1:59 am

        Hi Abdulmajeed,

Before Dodd-Frank law went into effect in the US, I was with IamFX. I was with them as they metamorphosed from supplying 0.01 lot to 0.05 and finally to 0.10 minimum lot and finally before they went offshore to continue their brokeraging exercise. Going by their current minimum lot, Hacked lovers won’t find them suitable to be with since the base lot is TOO HIGH and will result in a VERY HIGH RISK trading that will kill an account sooner than later. Besides, IamFX won’t give you 1:500 just like that because they don’t have one (at least they didn’t during the time I was with them). Hacked thrives on relatively high leverages.

Also add to that the fact that you’re charged three times on your trades: Your trades are NOT commission-free. So, you’re charged commissions on your trades. You will also be charged swaps which for both long and short positions are negative. Then you’ll pay on the spreads as well. For Hacked lovers, the robot opens large lots during frisky market times and with all these charges stuck in between, their profits will be shedding lots of weight before they get to the traders’ door.

And on the free VPS, uhm, I don’t know about that. Unless they’ve improved their services, it is not worth it. When I was with them, a lot of times the VPS froze on its users making worthy profitable trades losers. So, it is essential to weigh the risks, the pros and the cons, before jumping in bed with IamFX.

There are good and better brokers out there and if you need help in this regard, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Hope this helps.

        Cheers,
        Reny.

How can I determine the risk with Forex Hacked ?

Normally I would say I look for the max. number of open lots possible (depending on max. buy trades AND max. sell trades in combination with the booster) and multiply it with the stop loss. This value must then be multiplied with the pip value.

But I do not understand the logic Forex Hacked applies for closing positions. There is no fixed stop loss value for each position right ?

Is the “worst case scenario” really to calculate with the max. number of open buy trades and at the same time with max. numbers of sell trades ?

Thank you for your help !

      Hi Stefan,

I have created a worksheet that can calculate the risk you have to bear when using this EA. All you can do is replace the number of some important parameter such as Lot size, Pipstarter, TP….

Please feel free to contact me at steven4x@gmail.com for more information!

    • Reny4jah Reply
      Aug 13, 2011 @ 3:37 am

      Hello Stefan,

You are onto something with your questions and I will painstakingly unveil Hacked’s monstrous strategy.

First, Hacked will not operate on a fixed stop loss unless you activate it from the settings, i.e. change the stop loss function from false to true. But if you operate on the default settings, then you’re dealing with a dynamic stop loss which is incumbent on StopLossPCT function in the input tab and eliminating the number of bad trades that are taking extra space unnecessarily. Hacked gets rid of those trades if it seems unrealistic that the trend will return anytime soon.

Second, Hacked’s risk is calculated a little differently than you thought. The progression of the lots is based on the mathematical principle of geometric series, with the minimum lot supplied by the broker acting as the first term, the booster acting as the common ratio and the number of trades acting as the number of terms. For folks with quick mathematical minds, this is the best analogy I can come up with.

For individuals to whom mathematics is a foreign language, let’s assume that the base lot of a broker is 0.01 and the booster you used is 1.5. If the pip starter is 31 and the maximum number of buys and sells is 10, then:

      Trade 1 = 0.01———>After 31 pips against the trend, (” * ” means multiply)
      Trade 2 = 0.01*1.5—–>After 31 pips against the trend,
      Trade 3 = 0.01*1.5*1.5—–>After 31 pips against the trend,
      Trade 4 = 0.01 *1.5*1.5*1.5—->After 31 pips against the trend…etc.

By the time the trades get to the 10th level, you must have moved 310 pips (i.e. 31pips/trade*10 trades) against the trend. So, the total debt in pips you owe will be 31 + 2*31 + 3*31 + 4*31 +……10*31. How much you then owe in real money will be determined by the type of account you run.

Next, determine the price of the pairs you’re trading. For example if the current price of EURUSD is 1.5000, it means with a leverage of 1:100, you can trade 1 lot with at least $1500 in your account. With a leverage of 1:300, you can trade 1 lot with at least $500 in your account.

Thus from above, if you add up all the lots from Trade 1 to Trade 10 and if you factor the leverage on which you’re operating the account into equation, the total you come up with must be able to offset what is required to reach the level 10.

Bear in mind that this calculation is made for just one single pair. So, if you run more than one pair, you must multiply the figure above by the number of pairs you run. From the above calculation, the total number of lot to 2 decimal places is 1.12 lots. So if we are operating a STANDARD account with a leverage of 1:300, I’ll need at least $562.

But from the total number of pips above, I’ve already accummulated a pips’ debt of about 1705. For a standard account, 1 pip = $1. What that means is that I will be having a drawdown of $1,705.

Now at this juncture, ask yourself: With about $562 in my account, is it possible for me to take a trade that will require $1705 to complete? The answer is obviously NO. If your originally deposit is $1000, your account will be gone by the time it gets to the 7th level knowing fully well that by the time your margin level gets below 40%, most brokers give you a margin call.

That is the danger in using Hacked. That is why using the right broker which can supply you with 0.01 lot size, a fairly high leverage, tight spreads, commission free trades coupled with other incentives is essential to making a way using Hacked. You must also calculate the risk for your account BEFORE you use any settings on your account.

Even with the best of settings, accounts still blow up. Why? Because the market movements far exceeds what the accounts can take. I often advise friends that contact me to ALWAYS add 60% of the pips requirement to give them some safety net when the market goes wild. For example, if I were to invest using the example above, my initial deposit is going to be 1705 + 1705*0.60 = $2728 or approx $3000. This will give plenty of room if am going to give the robot the free hands to operate.

So, ladies and gentlemen, don’t just hop on any settings out there just because “So and So” said it works great on their account. Settings are like a DNA of an account. They are unique for each account size and must be tweaked to fit what you originally have in the account. Otherwise, it will blow up and what is supposed to be a joyful ride becomes a bumpy odyssey that ends in a nightmare.

Be careful folks. Hacked is a profitable wild beast. It should be tamed rather being toyed with. Contact me if you need help fellows. I am all ears. We are in this for the long haul.

      Cheers,
      Reny.

@Fx man, I’m on my 6th month trading with FH 2.3
    @Serge, I only changed

Magic number =default is fine but if you plan to trade with more than 1 pair, it must be different for each pair.
Lots =0.01 (never change it unless you want to burn your account)
    45 Takeprofit
    31 Pipstarter
    1.7 Booster
    MaxBuyOrder =8
    MaxSellOrder =8
    StartHour =0
    StartMinute =0
    StopHour =0
    StopMinute =0
trendStoploss =5 (default setting) ; but as I’m at AlpariUk, I set it to 3
SupportECN =true or false (If you are not sure, just simply ask your broker). I think even if you are not on ECN broker you can keep it set to “true”, not sure…I’m at AlpariUk and they told me it is not totally an ECN account I have, so I put it even to true.
EA_Name =I changed it to “jeromeplayful” because I think your broker can see what ea you are using and I don’t want them to know.
All other settings I didn’t mentionned are default settings.

PS: I recently changed my booster from “1.7” to “1.68” because my broker’s limit is 2 Lots(Not a very good broker for small accounts). You can also use “1.68” booster if you want more chance of not getting a margin call. But “1.7” booster is fine.

PS2 : Withdraw everytime you double your account. This point is very important if you want to become a winner with FH.

    Happy trading !

    Good Luck

    Hello everyone !
Today I’m deciding to share with you my experience with FH 2.3. I hope it will help some people. I’m going to tell you all what happened to me about that ea. Please forgive me for my english, I usually speak french but I think you’ll understand quite well.
So, since the first day I bought FH, I didn’t test anything, I just went through it in live because I don’t like to wait in nature.
My first deposit was with AAAFX with 600€. I didn’t know the meaning of leverage and I can tell you that I went from 600€ to 2300€ in 20 days with leverage 1:100. But the truth is that I closed some trades manually because I got a margin call every single night. I was trading usdjpy, usdchf, gbpusd, audusd and eurusd at the same time. After getting 2300€, I decided to choose only 2 pairs. So I chose eurusd and gbpusd. As I was very confident about that ea and about the good profits it could make, I kept gbpusd with TP 45 and PS 31 with 1.7 booster and eurusd with same settings but with lots at 0.02.
Everything was going very well until eur got down and I had a margin call which explosed my account to about 800€. I was so frustrated about losing so much in some hours and I got out of myself and I didn’t care about anything anymore. I wanted to get back to 2300€ minimum; so I decided to manually trade all by myself with 100 lots. I just wanted to get that money back in some minutes but unfortunately, my craziness killed my account.
I made another deposit of 500€ with the same broker but that time I was trading with leverage 1:200. I was still trading the same pairs as eurusd and gbpusd with the same settings as before but I kept my lots at 0.01. Gbpusd killed my account very fast that time. I guess it was a wrong period.
The 3rd time, I made another deposit but with another broker. I went to Alpari UK and asked for leverage 1:500. I deposit 500€. I chose the same pairs as admin is using. Eurchf and eurgbp with exactly the same settings.
Everything was going well for 3 days then killed my account. The booster was too high for my small account.
So, at this time, I killed all my accounts because of unknowlege and because of beeing too greedy.
I was focusing with my drawdown which is very low I should say but as the ea uses many lots sometimes, you have a probability to get a margin call even if you have a low drawdown.
Now, since last week, I decided to change my style of using that ea and I think that time my settings and the pairs I’m trading with are quite good.
My last deposit was 600€ and I’m trading with gbpusd which is for me the best pair because I get fast money as it goes up and down all the time. I’m also trading usdjpy because as I analysed the charts, I realized most of the pairs went very down due to eur problems except usdjpy which didn’t change. That was the only pair which went up. So now, since last week, I’m trading gbpusd and usdjpy and I know that if one pair will be a disaster, the other one will be stable. I use TP 45 and PS 31 with 1.7 booster. I kept my lots at 0.01. I don’t know if my settings are the safest but what I know is that I still didn’t get a margin call yet and honestly I like my settings. I turn around 5000% margin limit during the day and 8500% at night. For the moment it is quite good and quite safe but I know that a bad day can come some of other day at anytime. So that’s why now I changed my max buy and max sell from 10 to 8. Some people may ask me why? I will answer that from the last 5 months, I didn’t see the ea going further than x8. the further FH multiplied was 6 or 7 I think, not sure anymore. But it never touched x8.
So, conclusion of the story : Forex hacked is a very powerful ea but can also be powerful killing you account if you have bad settings and also if you are too greedy. For sure you will make money, and for sure you will lose money if not set correctly.
I am combining FH and Fapturbo. Fap turbo v.53 is also doing well. For me, those 2 eas work very well. Of course, If I see that I have less than 5000% margin limit, I’m not going to use Fapturbo. I just keep it for the next day.
I let my url of my stats for you who want to see…

    http://www.myfxbook.com/fr/members/jeromeplayful/jeromeplayful/124347

PS: Alpari UK is good I think because I don’t want to use more than 0.01 lot anymore and it is leverage 1:500. My greedyness taught me not to be too greedy.
The settings admin is using is very good for big account but not for smaller account less than 1000€. Even if I had more than 1000€, I wouldn’t use 1.9 booster…
Normally at Alpari UK , ECN is for account with 20 000€ deposit or 20 000$. So I set “support ECN” to false but for example when I go to 0.3 lots (ie. 3 winning trades in the same direction, only the 0.3 lot trade is positive and the 0.2 and 0.1 trades are negative.) So I changed support ECN to true and now everything is perfect.
I honestly don’t even think FH will kill my account even if the volatility is very important… The only period you’ll lose money will be only for example when pratically all money will go down for example in 2008. That happens very rarely in life. Maybe in 2 or 3 years there will be another crash? And I know I will make much money with FH after all my mistakes.
Something very important for me : I don’t touch eur anymore because it is the worst money in the world for me because it is too unstable. It can move up or down 3 charts sticked together.
So I won’t use FH with eur anymore until I get 50 000€ I think. I’m so scared about that crazy money now… Eurchf I’m trading actually is with fapturbo and only at night when the market is very quiet. Otherwise, I won’t touch that money during the day.
Good luck for trading evryone and wish you all the best !

Newbie traders fail when they risk too much. Every single problem comes from risking too much and failing to control the lot sizes opened in relation to their balance. But as you can see on forums, people are risking 30-50% or higher when they are using EAs that does not use a SL. Even if you use a set SL, risking 50% or higher is suicide. Margin call is imminent if you use EAs that do not use SL but you are still risking 50% or more.

It is always a good practice to go through what others have written on this forum before jumping into the Hacked’s band wagon. That way, you will have a feel of what others have said about the robot’s risk and money management.

To answer your question headon, there are brokers that will provide you with micro lots. But just having the provision for small lot sizes is not just enough. The settings must be adjusted accodingly to match the invested capital.

You may shoot me an email if you need help in this regard.

      @Jano25:

The best setting will involve a conservative pair, a low pip booster, a high pip starter and a relatively high take profit to compensate for the high pip starter. Alternatively, you can disable the martingale function of the robot and go constant lot so that in the end, your maximum buy/sell can be bumped up to compensate for the disabling of the dangerous strategy. $200 is very low. You definitely need a VERY low risk setting.

If you need help, let me know.

      @Johan:

There are a couple of reasons this might be happening to your EA:
      1. It could be that the broker disabled the EA as a result of recognizing it as an “illegal” EA. Some brokers do. So, check with the broker you’re using. If it is confirmed that the broker doesn’t have anything against the EA, then go to the second reason.

      2. It might be that you accidentally entered TP = 0, which will interfere with the internal logic of the robot if you set the “AllowStopLoss” to “False”. If that is not the case, then proceed to reason #3.

      3. It might be that your account size is NOT enough to withstand opening another trade. Solutions: First check the leverage you’re operating the account on. If the leverage is much lower, then contact your broker to help you boost it.

If you hit a wall in this regard, then consider reducing the number of charts you’re running the EA on. If you’ve reduced the charts to just one or you’ve been previously running just one chart, then consider reducing the lot size to the barest minimum the broker provides you with. If you’re currently running the bare bone lot size, then consider funding your account.

If none of this works, please send me an email.

      Cheers,
      Reny.

With Forex Hacked Live Micro Account Settings (Updated May, 2011) Question :
When do I change my lot size from 0.01C per pip to 0.02C per pip or will Forex Hacked automatically change the first transaction from 0.01C to 0.02C when the amount in my account is big enough?
I currently have about $240 in my account with a leverage of 1:500 and I started my account with $125 about three weeks ago
I am only trading the EUR/CHF

      Hello Toni,

You have to increase your risk manually. I advise against it until you have a substantial balance. This EA is great ,but you can expect to get bit a few times a year and you need to survive that. The VIP settings are aggressive as a rule compared to factory defaults so just sit back and give it a few months.

Hello all, thanks for the useful advice here so far, goldmin. I am new to FX so please bear with if questions are dumb. I am still a bit confused about lot size, if my risk profile is low, I am using the standard account settings from VIP and I am using 200:1 leverage and I have an account of GBP2500 ($4000) what lot size would I use? Is there a simple multiplier I could use to increment it every 1k? Also what would be a low-medium risk lot size?

Also I notice on the demo account in myfxbook that one of the currency pairs is removed after the first month. This seems sensible as the other pairs out perform it, but what settings would you change when going down to 2 pairs or are the settings global across all pairs and thus do not need amending? I should probably RTFM I guess….

      Jun 24, 2011 @ 22:04 pm

      @Stingvar:

#1, there are a few red flags on what you’ve said so far: First, the leverage you’re running your account on is a tad low. Go with a leverage that is at least 1:300. If your broker doesn’t give you this, consider moving to another. Second, it is always advisable to move from a minimum of 0.01 lot size and allow the robot’s booster to increase the lot size in order of its magnitude. The higher the base lot, the higher your potential to make more money in the market; and the higher the risk you’re taking to blow up your account. So, start with the lowest available lot size and walk your way up. Otherwise, you’ll be setting up your account for a disaster.

#2, when you said you wanted to know what the low to medium risks are, you’re talking of something that is purely subjective as there are different factors controlling the behavior of the robot. Did you mean low lot sizes? How low? Or few charts to run the account on? How few? Or a lower value of the booster? Why enter a certain number? How high is too high? All these parameters are responsible for controlling the risk of the robot. How individuals use them will purely depend on what they are willing to risk in the trading process. The risk you consider medium might be too low for me while to some other person, it is too high. So, it’s measured in terms of the appetite individuals have for risks. As far as I know, forex “risk-o-meter” is yet to be designed. If it is, I will be the first in line to buy the instrument. But an understanding of the basic rules of money management can go a long way to saving the day.

#3, if you decrease the number of charts you’re running an account on and you really want to make up the difference, you may bump up the booster value and the base lot or just one out of the two. But you’re doing so at your own risk because if the market goes frisky on you and your trades get caught in Elliot waves, then you’re dead.

Send me an email if I haven’t addressed your concerns properly.

      Cheers,
      Reny.

I’m using Ultra Hosting (VPS) with F.H. I recently found out that on every Sunday morning from 12:00 – 2:00 Ultra Hosting shuts down for a scheduled Maintenance and/or Equipment Upgrades. Did any else know that? If so, how do you properly shut down F.H.? When you turn F.H. back on, does it detect the Trades that were opened prior to a proper shut down or a forced shut down? Thank you all for your help…

Yes, I use Ultra Hosting as well. There are steps I take to protect myself for the maintenance shut down. I first off save the EA Profile. I give it it’s own name as well as name it Default. I up to today use to have the MT4’s in the start up but you also run the risk of having 2 instances of the Platform running . This is of course if you have the ability to have 2 log ins with UltraHosting. I occasionally would log into the VPS from my Blackberry and if my pc was still connected it would start a separate session with another set of MT4’s … not pretty to say the least ,lol. So I will now just start the platform every sunday.

I have never had a problem of the EA losing trades btw.

FXopens minimum stoploss is 10 pips so if I set the trendstoploss to 8 pips, it would turn an error and the stoploss wouldnt be set making the trending feature partially useless. Not sure what Alpari’s minimum stoploss is but I doubt its higher than 10.

      @Ivan:

There’s no doubt that you want to make the best out the robot by minimizing your loss. That is the dream of every trader on this forum. However, not every trader has the same investment and appetite for risk. So, the answer to your question hinges on two other questions:

      1. How much are you planning to invest?
      2. How much of that investment are you willing to risk?

Unless you’re able to come up with convincing answers to these questions, you might unwittingly be prepping your account for the Kabuki dance of death.

Feel free to email me if you’re not sure of how to proceed. I’ll be glad to help you.

      Hello Wan,

A pip is a Pip no matter the lot size. FH is a martingale EA, the Lot sizes get larger the deeper the trade goes against you. Hence you can have 6 losing trades close and 1 winner but show a loss in pips and a actually make money as the largest position made up for the 6 losers.

    @Gilis:

This is one of the most intelligent questions ever asked on this forum and it is one of the reasons many newbies inadvertently blow up their accounts.

The straight answer to your question is that this happens when the Magic Number for each chart is NOT uniquely different from the other. For example, let’s say I’m running my trades on EURUSD with the minimum lot of 0.01, booster value 1.6 and maximum buy/sell, 10. Let’s assume that the 4th trade is already opened, which by our calculation should be 0.04. If at this point I decided to add another pair, say AUDUSD, and I failed in my duty to change the magic number such that the number on that chart is different from that of EURUSD’s, the AUDUSD’s FIRST trade will be equivalent to EURUSD’s 5th trade. In this case, its first trade will have a lot size of 0.07 (i.e. 1.6*0,04…). The robot will totally disregard whatever your initial input is for the lot size in the expected field and then follow the que of the previous chart’s order.

Thus, something that appears to be totally insignificant in its coding can have rankling effects on the overall performance of the robot with a view to letting you make or break the trades.

It is not also clear from the way you crafted the question, who is opened the trade. When you said “I have opened a trade with a lot of 0.02”, did you mean the robot opened it or did you mean you manually opened the trade? If you manually opened it, then the robot has nothing to do with it since your chart is not run with the aid of any magic number. If you however meant the robot opened the trade, then the explanation above does a good job laying bare the cause and curse of the troubling enigma.

    Cheers,
    Reny.

Hi Steyn. I am no expert on forex or this EA. I Think you should be very happy with the profit your EA is making you on a micro account. I think you would need to play around with some of the settings on the account, decrease the leverage account size and increase your account size. @Farah:

Well, nobody can really tell you if that is enough or not. The simple underlying principle is: Would investing more bring hardships to you and your family? Would your life change for the worse if you hypothetically lost the money to the market? While nobody in particular can answer these questions for you, I’ll let you know that it certainly helps if the account size is a little bigger since Hacked is an anti-trend robot. Having a little more in the account, gives the robot some wiggle room to operate and reap the rewards of market’s reversals.

As for the # of pairs required to trade that account size, uhmmm…it depends on which setting you use. If you use a setting with high booster value, I’ll advise you to seriously consider running just one pair since FXOpen has a high base lot (0.10 is a high risk lot size). If otherwise, you may consider running two pairs.

Which pairs must you run? That should be left to the fundamental dimension of the market’s analysis.

If you have any problem with this, please send me an email.

      @Roy W.

      Good observation.

However, a number of other functions contribute to the risk of the robot. You cannot ignore the parts played by the Almighty Martingale darling, the pip booster. Nor can you ignore the trading door opener, the pip booster. Even something as subtle as each chart’s Magic Number play a role. All of them work together to increase the robot’s excellent appetite for eating people’s accounts for dinner.

Skillfully work with all of those and you will be able to tame the beast.

There is no best or worst since FH opens up trades immediately and opens up another one immediately when that trade closes. It is pure price action and grid trading driven. You really don’t want to trade GBPUSD with this. EURUSD is the best choice. Again, best to do EURUSD on ECN broker for pure scalping.

George, I had the same problem, but then I fixed it. It turned out the problem was related to the balance in my account being lower than half the equity. See, out of the total equity in my account over 50% was from bonus credit. It was strange because as soon as I added more $ to the account so that the balance was greater than 50% of the equity the robot started working again. Seems that maybe there is a built in stop out function that will close all trades if balance is lower than 50% equity. Not sure if this applies to you but thought it might help.

You have 9 max orders set? Do the simple math and see how much you will be risking total if all 9 positions open up. You cannot exceed 5% total trading with this EA. Demo and see how quickly your account goes bust. This is why you do the math first, then demo.

    Hi all,

May I ask, does anybody ever set-up Stop Loss’ on FH to avoid Account Blow-up’s? The Great Gordon Gecko once said: The key to the game is your capital reserves. You don’t have enough, you can’t pee in the tall weeds with the big dogs.

    • Jonny Reply

Proper risk lot sizing will avoid account blowups, not arbitrary SL settings. Just make sure your total risk is well under 10%. Calculate that by assuming what if all Martingale positions will open, will that be under 10% total? If not, you are risking too much.

      • Balazska Reply
        Jun 9, 2011 @ 10:46 am

What do you mean by all Martingale positions? It always depends on the account size, how much martingale positions it will open. Doesn’t it? I mean you cannot calculate it.

Here is my example. 1000$ demo account, 0,1lot.
When it was up to 2500$ it started to open martingales like this 0,17 0,29 0,49 0,84 1,42

        And today it’s up to 4500$ and it opened these 0,17 0,29 0,49 0,84 1,42 2,41.

Yeah I know it’s too risky, but I couldn’t open a demo account with a minimum lot size of 0,01.

        So what do you think?

        • Jonny Reply
          Jun 11, 2011 @ 7:14 am

Max order, grid spacing, multiplication factor, then available equity determines how many Martingale positions it will open. Obviously, if equity is not available to open up another position, it can’t but then you are already very near potential margin call. You definitely do not want to trade this way. And as many have stated, you cannot trade this on brokers whose minimum lot sizing is .1, it must be .01 and you always have to assume at some point, max orders will be opened. You have to make that assumption and calculate risk based on that assumption. If all max orders are opened, what percentage of equity will that be? Will it exceed 50%? You are risking then way too much. Even 10% is too much. Ideally, you want 5% when all max orders are hit.

I just looked into your MT4 Stats. Since GBP made a huge run up without significant correction (350 pips plus), your account is showing a negative equity. With your floating loss greater than your account balance, why is it that you do not get a margin call? Kindly clarily. Tnx.

The account balance is now up to $26,000+, not $2600, it still has a long way to go before that happens.

Admin, your settings are very aggressive. Is your lot size of 0.1 with FXOpen? If it is, that is okay. Note that lot sixe of 0.1 on FXopen is not equivalent to a lot size of 0.01 on Alpari. Using lot size of 0.01 on Alpari with A/C of $2,700 with a booster of 1.9 is indeed very aggressive. I just about blew my $2,200.00 account on Alpari using 45 TP, 31 PS, booster 1.68 with lot size 0.01 with GBP/USD

      May 26, 2011 @ 22:31 pm

Actually my settings are on the safer side. 0.50% per day on forex hacked would be considered very conservative. Yes the 1.9 booster does seem high, but I also run a high balance micro account at 0.1 lots with 1:500 so there is a ton of breathing room.

There are hundreds of different setups you can run with this EA. It’s all about what kind of risk:reward ratio you are comfortable with.

Dear all, I’m about to buy this bot and just wanted one clarification, I live in Australia and the maximum leverage I’ve found here was 1:400 with one of the best brokers around, is it ok to run this bot with this much leverage ? or does it have to be 1:500 ? Thanks

    • Reny4jah Reply
      Jun 17, 2011 @ 20:03 pm

      @Tiago:

You probably are writing about Pepperstone broker. Yeah, they are pretty new to the block and still need some time to prove their business-worthiness. Certainly, a leverage of 1:500 is better than that of 1:400. Hacked always craves for the higher leverage because of its core strategy. But there’s nothing that tells you should stick with them. There are better brokers that can give you both the higher leverage and deposit bonus to go with opening an account.

If you need help in this regard, please don’t hesitate to send me an email. I am more than happy to help.

      Cheers,

Try a slightly higher booster, like 1.7 or 1.8. Keep in mind this acts as a multiplier so make sure you are starting at 0.01 or 0.1 lots and a leverage of 1:500 to 1:300 if possible.

My new live account is running 1:500 leverage with the following settings:

      1.9 booster
      45 TP
      31 Pipstarter
      11 max sells
      11 max buys

      trendtrigger 3
      trendpips 5
      trendstoploss 10 (fxopen minimum)

I’m having the same problem, except on my live account. My demo account was working fine, but since installing it on my live account last night there have been no trades opened up.

I followed the directions in the installation guide to the letter. I changed my account number in the members area of the forexhacked.com members area, and everything shows as being installed successfully in MT4, with the smiley face showing also.

      Help please!

hello all, i’d like to use this EA but i’m having a hard time finding a forex broker with 500:1 leverage that will accept U.S. clients. I know there are overseas brokers that will provide this leverage because they are not regulated by the CFTC. Does anyone have a list of brokers that will provide 500:1 leverage (or higher) to U.S. residents. It seems like having this leverage is crucial with ForexHacked because of the occasionally large drawdown that can occur. Thanks for the great website/discussion, and any help you can give.

I’m with the same broker and started off with the same size account. I have all 5 currency pairs recommended by Forexhacked and running the following settings below. I have my lot sizes at 0.03 on all charts except for the EUR/USD as it’s been too volatile lately so it’s set even lower. Seeing a max drawdown of around 8% . The results are really steady, right about $400 per day. If you go with bigger lot sizes I guarantee you that you’ll over leverage your account at some point and get stopped out – DO NOT get greedy. Even my lot sizes are bit aggressive when you consider the sum of all the charts exceed the recommended lot sizes from ForexHacked. Best of luck.

      <<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>

These settings offer medium to low risk, with a high profit potential.

      35 takeprofit
      21 pipstarter
      1.65 booster
      10 max buys
      10 max sells

      The rest default.

Stephen, those are good stats. Do you have much equity to play with? My account is on about $2700 and I am using 0.01 with 31 pip starter (if you check Admin, he uses 31 pip starter on the metatrader results NOT 21 as stated in his settings), profit taking at 45 pips. With this equity I have enough to go to 10 pipstarters if necessary with a bit left over. If I move to 11 pipstarters I risk blowing the account. I am waiting until I get to $3630 before moving to 11 pipstarters. I use GBP/USD only. I would like to move up to 0.02 but I would reduce number of pipstarters which might result in a margin call if the market moved against me.

Hi, I ‘m trying to learn about FH before using it even though I have already purchased it !. My understanding about FH so far is that it works really well in a trading range market and not as well, if not too risky, in a trending market. So isn’t it better to turn the expert advisor on and off based on a trending indicator ( such as ADX) ie to be turned off if ADX reading is above say 40? I guess that will give a better and much safer outcome, I think !

Without having to run this EA on every pair on demo accounts, can you all please chip in your thoughts and tell me what the SAFEST pair to run this EA on is? I would probably use 35tp, 1.6 pipbooster, and 21 pipstarter, and 10 max trades. I am just wondering what currency pair you all feel is the safest. Even if my gains are less, I would like to go with a very safe set up. I will be happy gaining 10% to 20% per month. Thanks for any feedback you can give me. Great website and discussion.

Mike, Back that pip starter back and then way back again if you want a safer system. and dont be to aggressive with increasing the pipbooster. Back that pip starter back to 45 or 60 ( or more)and see how much safer it is. Some settings might be as high at 140, And then test on other pairs, Gp/us isnt a very safe pair, its just profitable cause it moves up and down alot.

Hi all, may I provide a comment and a question? I am running FH 2.3 on a micro account and have been reasonably happy with the results I am getting. On Friday last week I wanted to allow the EA to manage the two trades that were open but not to open any more as I wanted all positions closed for the weekend. I set the ‘Pause New Trades’ input to TRUE as per the settings manual. However when I came back about 2 hours later the EA had continued to open new trades and I had lost about 50% of my account. I emailed FH support, explained what had happened and asked if had missed something or if there was a problem. I received the following; “Thank you for contact us. You cannot pause the EA, wither you leave it running 24/7 or you take it from the chart , close all trades , and when you decide to trade again, attach the EA and leave it again ON 24/7 ” .

I asked for an explanation of what the ‘Pause New Trades’ was expected to do and received the following; “Better we avoid this option because the order can be closed and we get a OrderModify issue.”

My comment: I am a little concerned that there may be other inputs which I did not use in testing which could have the same problem.
My question: are you aware of any other settings which should be avaided.

    Thank you and take care

Okay, I’m very optimistic and excited about this EA. It obviously has earned a lot of attention. I have used several EAs in the past and I am familiar with Martingale and the risks normally associated. The fact that this has strategies to minimize risk are what got me interested. My question right now is regarding the lot size. I am running the settings recommended by Forex FBI vip area. I am running on the Eur/jpy and gbp/usd. I have 5k equity and 500:1 leverage. I understand from the EA manual that .05 lots would be recommended for my account size. However I am running only .01 lots to see what profits are like. So far profits are great. Up $186 in two days. Can i expect gains like that to continue? even with such small lot size? And… how much safer is .01 versus .05? I’m assuming profits will be considerably less, but is the risk being reduced proportionately? If I can earn 20% per month with very, very little (read almost zero) risk I will be very happy. Is that likely with the set up i just described?

i have been running this EA for a short while (less than 48 hrs) on a demo with very similar settings to those that are available in the VIP area. The performance is very good. im not normally a fan of EA’s, however this one can really be used to your advantage. max drawdown of under 1-5%, normally under 1% though. 20% profit as i type. it ran through the cable drop of 150 points on 3/5/11 and managed to get any losses back, although losses were only profit losses rather than losses from original capital / deposit. be sensible, keep lot sizes in proportion to account size, with draw profits regularly and don’t get greedy.

thanks to forex FBI for settings, very impressive so far!

        @Phi & Gus:

Please check your email. I’ve outlined the solutions to the problem in it. For the benefit of others that may have tne same problem, consider doing this:

But first, you must understand that the problem most of the time arises as a result of running more than one pair or more than one chart concurrently. So, whenever that message comes up in the Expert folder, do the following:

        1. Make sure that all the currency pairs are on the same timeframe. In the case of Hacked, use H1.

        2. Change the Magic # for each pair you run so that no two charts or pairs run have exactly the same magic #. For example, if you’re running the EurUsd and AudUsd pairs. If the Magic # for EU is 13374, change that of AU to 13375 and click OK. That should unbind the code.

If either of you still have problems with the operation, shoot me an email.

        Cheers,
        Reny.

Also check the lot size, some brokers do not trade micro lots. This will also produce such error.

TRY FH2.3 IN LIVE ACCOUNT FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS WITH GREAT SUCCESS. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT YOUR ACCOUNT MUST BE LARGE ENOUGH TO AFFORD THE DRAWDOWNS(SOMETIMES SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS) MY SETTINGS IS THOSE WITH TP=35-PAIR gbpusd -1hr

Could you post your full settings and where they are from? FH Memberships site, Forexfbi, and so on? I use Peterson settings on USDJPY and USDCHF with good results.

Has anyone noted if the “trending” feature on the latest version of FH (2.3) is actually working? The feature is supposed to adjust the takeprofit up slightly when close to its price and continue doing so until the price begins to reverse and will then close out the position as it is described in the manual. The idea is to squeeze a few extra pips but the feature has never functioned for me.

I have it enabled but have no idea what the impact is. All I do know is the EA is running very well using 1:500 leverage and the recommended lot sizes from Forexhacked.

If your TP is set at 45, for example, then with the trending enabled at the default the TP should be closed at a slightly higher level (between 3-5 pips). The EA has never done so; other than that it’s functioning as advertised. But I would like to figure out how to get the feature to function. Anyone have any ideas?

gbpusd is one of the most volatile pairs you can possibly use. I learned that lesson the hard way. Try audusd or usdjpy. I am personally using eurusd with low risk settings and am having success. The best thing to do is to try a currency pair alone on a demo account and learn its personality before you use it on a live account.
