Performance (Forex Maximizer EA Test Results)

License

Forex Maximizer will be available through clickbank for $97. Licensing information is still unknown.

Strategy

Forex Maximizer comes with two versions, an advanced version that trades GBPJPY and a regular version that trades GBPUSD. They both come with very basic settings with the original version only having a magic number, lot size and start and stop time to change. The advanced version has a few extra settings to change, mostly just indicator based ones though like  ATR, and break even points. No where to modify a take profit or stop loss.

Recommended Brokers

FX Open is a great broker for running robots with it’s tight spreads and great execution time during all hours of the day.

Conclusion

Not much is known about Forex Maximizer just yet, they have kept the lid sealed tight on this one. Right now they are offering a free indicator in exchange for your email, but this is 99.9% of the time just a free indicator as a ploy to build a email list to market to.

Update (May, 12, 2010) – Well I bought a copy of Forex Maximizer for testing, including the Advanced version, and while it all seems to be just a very basic package, I will wait for some test results before coming to any conclusions on it.

Safe To Buy?

YES!

Forex Maximizer has been approved for purchase because of its 60 day money back guarantee with Clickbank.

I bought Maximizer and Advanced on first day available. It made a steady progress on demo account going from initial $3,000 to $4,220 in little over two weeks with few small losses. Has been flat for last ten days with small losses and gains but still up $1,200 on small account. Have been trying to contact support for over three weeks with no response about very simple questions. Ea is impressive, support sucks!

I bought this EA and found it useless … the first few days it traded beyond expectation! after that it was just a mess … risk/reward ratio? I doubt it … more negative trades vs positive ones. the so called advance version is worst. don’t buy my advice is … waste of time … and money.

ya this Ea is not working like those great screen shots it shows go figure, today out of blue gbp/jpy finally kicked in with a sell 200 s/p 200 t/p. which completely wiped out all progress it had made on my demo with 1 trade, have had 2 trades actually hit the t/p but for some reason this EA as soon as this thing locks 40 to 45 pips it places s/l at 30 pips profit which is only allowing what 10 pips move on theses pairs crazy. My last trade up 30 again but early so want to see if reaches target. So far 4 winning trades for 120 pips total 1 losing trade for 205 pips, for some reason this locks in 30 pips on all winning trades and lets the losers roll. Going by this am truely curious where all those amazing screenshots came from when this thing adjust a winning trade up or modify it to a 30 pip every time. Plus after 4 days still no response from them.

hello i started to trade this ea on live account ,yesterday i had 3 losing trades .
i notice that the screen is not refreshing like other ea(time of server is changing and spread) so when the trade is in profit after 30 pips it shuld go to BE but its not and this is very bad thing
all my other ea refreshing every secound?

Well this has started to work not on the account I wanted but working and well so far. Made 3 trades today all winners for a total of 90 pips. First 1 had was a buy for gbp/usd with a s/l of 55 and t/p of 102 but closed out 30 pips profit not bad cause market change for the downside, second was a sell both stop and profit were same within a pip or 2 ie (100 pips) then about an hour later open a third pretty much same as the second both trade 2 and 3 hit projected t/p but it closed both of them out at 30 pips profit also. Just wondering if 30 pips is the setting for this, not complaining 90 pips profit and day not over yet is great!! now if could get to run on the account I wanted would be great demo for cpl more weeks. Just need support to respond to cpl questions. Oh by the way the advance doesnt seem to be doing anything going by log it tried to make 1 trade and came up with error saying context busy? not sure what that means.

Was just wondering does have to go a certain broker account, had it one and nothing expert file says cannot open program for either EA, so I put it on fxdd loaded but actual server time never changes and has yet to make a trade> have wrote support and nothing yet it seems support will take some time to respond back, was hoping maybe somebody might have an idea of what to do here. I used their auto install so am confused as to why it is not working.

    thank you
    Charlie

I e-mailed support on the 13th of May. No reply yet. It has two problems:1.) Server time on chart will not work. 2. ) It places trade at the same time as the stop/take profit. Almost all brokers have a 2 delay second delay requirement (to frequent request). This will cause the order to go through, but no stop or take profit will be placed. Both of these are simple fixes. Support better get on this, or there will be lot of returns

It is funny the Forex Maximizer is closing its sales with a countdown clock…I wish I could see how it performs for at least 2 weeks…too short a time to make a decision.

Just to be clear, you appear to be running both the standard and upsell (“Advanced”) versions. Personally, I won’t be running the Advanced because it trades the GBPJPY–a notoriously hard pair to profit from.

Ya I am running both versions on the same account, might as well see what it’s capable of.
