Pip Commander By Terry Garrett – Reviewd And Discussed

Pip Commander is a forex robot built and sold by a guy named Terry Garrett for $47 on Clickbank. Not a lot of 3rd party information on this EA as it seems it has been quietly released to the market.

On their sales page they show 3 different accounts all trading their own currency pair. Why they have to be on their own seperate account is beyond me (possibly backtests faked into looking like live trading statements?). Regardless, here are the stats of these 3 accounts.

  1. Account #1 (EURUSD) – They show a trading statement of a $5000 account climbing to over $180,000 from theb beginning of 2012 to July.
  2. Account #2 (USDJPY) – Here we have an account grow from $5000 to $88,000 in the same time period.
  3. Account #3 (USDCHF) – This takes $5000 all the way up to $270,000 in the same 7 months time frame.

He shows a deposit to IBFX like you would normally see, but that can be easily added. I still don’t buy that these are real statements. If someone was selling an EA and had results like this, they would be a fool not to put them up on MyFXBook not only for the credibility but the exposure as well. Also the fact that their open trades are not being updated very often and left open for weeks at a time seems a bit odd.

Strategy

Seems to be basing it’s opens off some sort of trend indication and then holding trades for big gains and closing out losers early. While I’m a fan of this sort of strategy, I’m not a big fan of the lack of transparency Terry is providing here.

Remember if you are going to try Pip Commander that you fully understand how the system works before running it live. I always recommend to use your refund period to test it thoroughly for at least a month. If your results are above satisfaction, then and only then should you consider taking steps to trade it live with your hard earned money. Just because a website says their system will make $xx,xxx a month doesn’t mean it’s going to. So if you are not satisfied, do not hesitate to request your money back. I am interested in buying this software. Can any one have any suggestions please?
It looks great for profits in the screen shots provided. The MA crossing strategy works well, without any fails. If it is an automated forex strategy, then it is better to own.

I invite any advise from any friend.

    Thanks,
